The City That Never Sleeps
Image and video hosting by TinyPic Welcome to my blog. I respond to Angela. This is a blog that is probably never genuinely happy and a tad deep...but read on.

title : You know someone's your friend when you have a big smile on your face and they still know something's wrong

Sometimes they take people and they don’t say why
Sometimes people leave and you never get to say goodbye
Sometimes there are no second chances to say I love you,
Sometimes there are no next time
Sometimes you regret not admitting you were wrong
And sometimes there is nothing you can do to make the tears stop

Today I got a call from a really good friend and we hadn’t been in contact for awhile. It made me realise how much I missed her, it also made me realise that our friendship is still as strong as ever. I use to think that as soon as you say goodbye to a friend, it was over. That we would move on, forget each other but now I know that a true friendship can survive that distance. It makes me happy to know that I don’t have to pretend to be cheerful and happy when I talk to her because she will understand why I’m upset.

My definition of a true friend:
Someone who knows what you are thinking without you telling them

Someone who knows what you are going to do before you even do it
Someone who can accept you for who you are
Someone who will tell you that dress/haircut/makeup makes you look bad
Someone who won’t feel awkward or look away when you break down in front of them
Someone you can call at 4am in the morning
Someone you can trust with “that” secret
Someone you can trust with your life

Wanna find out who your true friend is? Fuck up and see who stays by your side

I think I am slowly becoming addicted to online shopping. The feeling of anticipation when you click the next button on the catalogue, when you find the perfect item, when you find another item that totally suits THAT perfect item, when you press enter on the PayPal payment form, and then…you enter THE number of your credit card ( well your mum’s credit card XD).  The only negative side of online shopping is probably the wait. The endless days that pass and still no little white parcel on your doorstep when you get home. Yup that’s the heartbreaking part of online shopping.
