title : The Future
Yesterday at lunch the major talk was on career paths and future wants. Suddenly in the middle of all that talk I realised that i was no longer the little girl that could say " whatever, the HSC and my future is a long way away". It dawned on me that not only is this the year where all the important planning, and discussing began but it was also the year we decided our future. The year where we change into senior school uniforms (which btw is nothing to get excited about because its just...ugly) and also decided our electives for yr 11 and 12. I felt like someone had just pinched me and rudely awakened me to reality. The only thing im happy about is the fact that ive got a bit of idea about where i want my future to go along. 1. Get a 95% and over UAI for HSC. 2. Get parents to buy me an Audi 3. Get into the Canberra university for business and law. 4. Own a beautiful apartment at Breakfast Point 5. Get a toy poodle My view for my future is to earn alot of money, to inherit the assets my parents will pass on to me and to expand it. Hence my interest in buisness. Anywayss enough depressing talk about the future and lets talk present tense. Today is the BIG day where all my parents friends and and relatives gather together for a PARTY! Being the girly-girl I am, I cannot resist the opportunity to show off my new dress and handbag which Anita kindly got me from Asia. Bless that girl. The thing I'm not looking forward to is well as all asian parents do when they get together is start comparing daughters and try to up each other. Some friends right? While im having trouble with catching up with homework their daughters seem to breeze through it. Totally unfair. School was ohkay, maths being my favorie subject atm because Hagrid ( A.K.A Mr sinclair) actually accidently put me next to Anita at the back row while using his computer to randomly pull out names for seating arrangment! My thanks to his computer. English with Mrs Bowie is hell, as the teacher is so old she's a tad...slow. But sadly shes slow in all things but the homework which she seems to throw at us every lesson non stop. Well enough blogging now, better get back to my English homework. >~< |
